Don’t lose Bellerin to Barcelona, warns Cazorla

Bellerin has emerged as one of the best right-backs in Europe since making his Arsenal debut in 2013.

But the Spaniard has been linked with a move away from the Emirates in recent weeks, with both Barcelona and Manchester City reportedly interested in his services.

Arsene Wenger insisted last week he sees the 21-year-old’s future with Arsenal.

And Cazorla believes it would be a mistake for Arsenal the let Bellerin leave.

“We’ll see [what happens with Bellerin],” Cazorla told IBTimes.

“It is clear that Hector is the right-back of the future.

“You could see in the victory over Swansea how good he is. He was all over the place and never stopped running.

“For Arsenal it would be a mistake to let him go. It is obvious that many teams want him. There has been talk about Manchester City and Barcelona.

“He is a player with great potential and I am sure he will also be a key part of the future of the Spanish national team.”
